How we find the leak
We start with a meter test to confirm there is a leak on your side of the meter. Then we isolate sections of the pipe to narrow down where it is. For concealed pipes, we check fittings, joints and the pipe route before opening anything, so we only hack where we need to.
Repair or replace?
A single leaking joint or small section can usually be repaired. If your pipes are old galvanised iron and showing rust in several places, replacing the run with copper or PPR pipe often costs less over time than repeated repairs. We will explain both options and quote them before starting.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if the leak is inside my unit?
Turn off every tap and check the water meter. If it keeps moving, there is likely a leak after the meter, which is the owner's responsibility.
Will you need to hack the wall?
Only if the leak is in a concealed pipe. We narrow the location first so any hacking is kept small, and we can reroute pipes on the surface where that makes more sense.
